Educational Services

  • PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS

Think your child might be eligible for special education support services or gifted support services? A psychoeducational evaluation can determine whether your child meets the eligibility requirements for special education or gifted support services according to PA and Federal law. This evaluation can then be shared with the school district to further determine the educational need for services.

  • INDEPENDENT EDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS (IEE’S)

An Independent Educational Education (IEE) can determine whether your child meets the eligibility requirements for special education or gifted support services according to PA and Federal law. The PA Bureau of Special Education Procedural Safeguards Notice states you have the right to obtain an IEE of your child at public expense if you disagree with the evaluation of your child that was obtained by your local education agency. It is the parent’s responsibility to seek monetary reimbursement from the school district for an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE).
